If you had told North Carolina State fans that with four games left in the season the Wolfpack would need to win out just to make a bowl game, they would have looked at you like you were crazy.
But that's where the team stands as the calendar shifts to November. Because two of the Pack's wins came against lower-division foes, it needs seven victories to be bowl-eligible. That means the 3-5 squad can't lose again if it wants to play in December.
The good news is that three of those four games are at home. The first one, this Saturday against Maryland, is against a team in a similar spot at 2-6, but one that's reeling even more than NCSU and shows no signs of putting it together. That makes this an even bigger test for the ...More |
