UNLV (4-6, 2-4 Mountain West) needs to beat its last two opponents, Air Force on the road and San Diego State at home, to earn bowl eligibility.]]></description>

      <description> &lt;p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It sounds like the same old story for UNLV.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A year ago, Mike Sanford's Rebels, coming off a one-sided loss to conference heavyweight TCU, found themselves having to win their final three games to get to the coveted six-win total to become bowl eligible. UNLV went on to defeat New Mexico and Wyoming at home, only to come up a victory short with a season-ending loss at San Diego State.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This year, the Rebels (3-6, 1-4), who host slumping Colorado State (3-6, 0-5) this week, are coming off a 41-0 blanking by the Horned Frogs and must once again run the table to achieve their bowl game goal. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Rebels also travel to Air Force (5-4, 4-2) on Nov. 14 and end the season against visiting San Diego State (4-4, 2-2) on Nov.</description>
