Don't mention the "T" word around Bo Pelini.

The Nebraska coach is serious when he says his focus—and his team's focus—is on Colorado.

"Everywhere I go I hear, Texas, Texas, Texas, and people talking about it," Pelini said.

"I'm sure Mack (Brown) is down there in Texas doing the same thing about the (Texas) A&M game. ... You have to take care of the here and now. It's very easy to buy into distractions."

Nebraska's distraction is a Dec. 5 Big 12 Championship game against unbeaten Texas. The talk around Lincoln is whether the Huskers' defense can slow down the Longhorns enough to keep Nebraska in position for an upset.

The talk around Pelini's office is anything but Texas.
