      <description><![CDATA[Navy&#39;s second consecutive victory at Notre Dame Stadium didn&#39;t produce the same euphoria for the Midshipmen as the last one. Just another win as far Navy was concerned -- though this loss to the Midshipmen was much more costly for Notre Dame. Craig Schaefer sacked Jimmy Clausen in the end zone with 60 seconds left Saturday and Navy held on for a 23-21 victory, its second in three seasons...]]></description>

      <description> &lt;p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If Saturday's game at Notre Dame is anything like the last two, fasten your seat belt.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Two years ago, the Midshipmen went into South Bend and beat the Fighting Irish in triple overtime for the program's first win over Notre Dame since Roger Staubach's gang pulled it off in 1963.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Last year, the Mids were down 27-7 with 2:30 left in the game, scored twice and recovered a pair of onside kicks to almost steal a second straight win over the Irish.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Last week Navy missed its first chance at qualifying for the Texas Bowl with a home loss to Temple, bring a 6-3 record to South Bend for the 83rd meeting between the two programs. Yes, Temple, a program that has practically defined losing football over most of the last three decades has won six straight, enough victories to earn a bowl bid for the first time since 1979.
