As Gary Pinkel unveiled his 10th group of recruits since coming to Missouri, he could take some satisfaction in pulling in his highest-rated class.
Rivals.com ranked MU's class No. 21, 15 spots higher than MU's classes have averaged over the past six seasons. More important, MU's 2010 class ranked as the most talented according to the system Pinkel and his staff uses to analyze recruiting.
"In our evaluation system this is a significantly higher level total recruits we've had since we've been here," he said. "I don't know about anybody else's system, but that's how ours read."
