Sports) <p><p>After Mississippi State lost three home games by a combined 22 points and turned the ball over 13 times in that span, many MSU fans used their preferred four-letter word.</p> <p>But now that the Bulldogs beat Kentucky in Lexington 31-24 last Saturday night, MSU coach Dan Mullen is using a four-letter word of his choice: Bowl.</p> <p>Mullen is making no bones about it: He's selling out for his team to win two of its last three, which would give it six wins and make it bowl eligible for only the second time since 2000.</p> <p>"You are looking at about 18 extra practices," he said in The Clarion-Ledger. Anthony Dixon rushed for two touchdowns and a school-record 252 yards as Mississippi State kept its bowl hopes alive by outlasting Kentucky 31-24 on Saturday night. Dixon broke Jerious Norwood's single-game record of 247 yards just two weeks after he surpassed Norwood's career rushing mark of 3,212 yards.
