Apparently, it's crisis time at Michigan State.

Mark Dantonio talked at his Tuesday news conference of "regaining respect" and "rebuilding this process" within the season. The 4-5 Spartans face a must-win Saturday when Western Michigan visits Spartan Stadium—looking to become the second Mid-American Conference school to win there this season, following Central Michigan's upset on Sept. 12.

Dantonio has not reacted kindly to the Spartans' mistake-filled 42-34 loss at Minnesota. He said he was outcoached directly afterward, gave some snippy responses to a couple of reporters' questions the next day, and then decided to cut off access to players for the week. Adam Weber passed for 416 yards and five touchdowns, helping Minnesota hurdle a school-record 17 penalties and hang on to beat Michigan State 42-34 on Saturday night.
