Miami coach Randy Shannon doesn't expect his fourth recruiting class to be ranked high by scouting services.

It's not that he's unhappy with the 28 signees. It's just that Shannon and his staff didn't go for a lot in the way of the glamour positions.

"We won't be ranked because we don't have 'athletes,'" Shannon said. "I can't go out there and, say, recruit five receivers. If we recruit five receivers, it will get us in the top five in the country.

"But we felt we needed to fill our needs, and we've got receivers on this football team."
