There could be a sighting not seen in Kentucky's secondary since the first Saturday in October—Trevard Lindley at cornerback.

The preseason All-American hasn't stepped on the field since suffering a high-ankle sprain against Alabama on Oct. 3, but he returned to the practice field on Tuesday and there's a chance he could play against Eastern Kentucky on Saturday.

Lindley by no means was operating at 100 percent efficiency, but he was able to participate in the majority of practice drills.

Coach Rich Brooks rated the chances of Lindley playing as "questionable to doubtful."

Anthony Dixon rushed for two touchdowns and a school-record 252 yards as Mississippi State kept its bowl hopes alive by outlasting Kentucky 31-24 on Saturday night. Dixon broke Jerious Norwood's single-game record of 247 yards just two weeks after he surpassed Norwood's career rushing mark of 3,212 yards.
