      <description> &lt;p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Idaho has clinched its first winning season since 1999, and now the Vandals will try to win their first conference championship since 1998.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It won't be easy, as coach Robb Akey's team must win its final three games and hope that Nevada loses at least one of its remaining games to secure at least a share of the conference crown.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Vandals can assume sole possession of second place in the conference by beating Fresno State on Saturday. Second place is extremely important in the WAC as only the top two teams in the conference are guaranteed bowl berths, though it's likely that the top four all will see postseason play this season because Hawaii won't be eligible to play in the Hawaii bowl.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Idaho hasn't played in a bowl game since 1998 when the Vandals defeated...</description>
