Instead of rebuilding, Idaho football coach Robb Akey thinks it's time for just building.

Fresh off his team's first winning season in 10 seasons and an epic bowl victory, Akey signed 25 players who he hopes will continue the positive vibe rolling through Moscow, Idaho.

One of the most encouraging aspects of the class was that about a third of it came from the Northwest, an area where Akey had his staff target for players. Idaho signed four players from its home state and four others from Washington.

"We're getting stronger up here in the Northwest," Akey said. "And that's a great, great sign. We've got four guys who you can throw a rock from campus and hit their homes."
