Hawaii Team Report Nov 18, 2009

Hawaii expects its two most important offensive players to play this week against San Jose State.

Quarterback Bryant Moniz (bruised ribs) and slot receiver Greg Salas (sprained ankle) were knocked out of last week's game against New Mexico State.

Moniz has thrown for 280 or more yards in the five full games he has played this season. He has rushed for 119 in the past two games.

Salas leads the nation in receiving yards at 136 per game. He's second in receptions at 8.5 per game.

The Warriors need those two healthy as they try to win their last three games and qualify for the Hawaii Bowl. They play at San Jose State, then get Navy and Wisconsin at home.

• Hawaii is 111th in the nation in turnover margin at minus-10. ...More
