The Warriors signed 26 recruits, including 11 linemen, and were able to keep nearly half of the top 20 players in Hawaii in the state—although most of the top 10 left the islands.
Fifteen of the newcomers join the defense, which needs an infusion of talent. The Warriors also signed four wide receivers to stock the run-and-shoot.
"This is probably the fastest and biggest class we've ever recruited and we felt we got quality players at every position," coach Greg McMackin said.
The big get for the Warriors was defensive lineman Beau Yap, who decommitted from Baylor and took a late trip to Oregon State but decided to play at home. He was the Honolulu Advertiser's co-defensive player of the year.
