As good as he has been when it counts—and that has been very good, East Carolina junior wide receiver Dwayne Harris has been even better in practice.

"He leaves the field every day and you say, 'Did you see that run he made? Did you see that cut he made? Did you see that catch he made?' That's what the great ones do. Every day you leave the practice field saying wow," head coach Skip Holtz said. "If we could make a highlight film of him in practice, it would blow away some of the things fans have seen him do in games."

Harris has done plenty in games. The two-time C-USA Special Teams Player of the Week ranks second in the league in kickoff return average (26.8), fifth in all-purpose yards (148.5), eighth in catches per game (5.6) and ninth in receiving yards per game...

Dwayne Harris caught eight passes for 108 yard and two touchdowns, including a kickoff return for a score, to lead East Carolina to a 37-21 win over Alabama-Birmingham on Saturday. Harris, who finished with 254 all-purpose yards, caught touchdowns passes of 23 and 39 yards. He also scored on a 99-yard kickoff return in the fourth quarter.
