Cincinnati Team Report Nov 25, 2009

  Cincinnati's second bye week came at a good time for the entire team, but it was most beneficial to senior quarterback Tony Pike, who had an additional week for his injured left forearm to heal. Pike, who was listed among Heisman hopefuls prior to the injury, is expected to start this week's home finale against Illinois.

  "Unless something unforeseen occurs in practice, it'll be Tony," said Cincinnati head coach Brian Kelly. "Six weeks since the injury has allowed the bone time to heal properly."       

  The Bearcats enter the final two weeks of the regular season ranked fifth in each major poll and the BCS standings. UC hosts the Illini this week, then travels to Pittsburgh for a Dec. ...More
