Buffalo coach Jeff Quinn's first recruiting class can also be looked at as Turner Gill's last. With exactly a month separating his official start date and national signing day, Quinn had precious little time to compile his first class. That meant there were no such things as days off.

"I called every single man that I knew was committed to the previous staff and who I knew were guys that I wanted to secure a commitment (from) on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day," Quinn said. "It paid off. We're certainly excited about these young men."

The end result of that work is 19 new Bulls on scholarship, including four from Western New York. Buffalo's recruiting class included at least one player at every position.
