Bowling Green Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)

http://us.rd.yahoo.com/sports/rss/ncaaf/SIG=13a0rus2u/*http%3A//sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/news?slug=teamreports-2009-ncaaf-bbh&prov=sportsxchange&type=team_report

Through Bowling Green's first eight games this season the Falcons have allowed an opposing player to rush for at least 100 yards six times. Bowling Green is 1-5 in those games.

The task of stopping the run doesn't get any easier as next up for the Falcons is a game at Buffalo on Nov. 3.

The Bulls lost standout running back James Starks before the start of the season, but Ike Nduka has emerged as a running threat. In Buffalo's most recent game, an overtime loss to Western Michigan on Oct. 24, Nduka carried 18 times for 172 yards and a touchdown. He has rushed for over 100 yards in three of Buffalo's last four games.

"We have not really defended the run well all year," BG head coach Dave Clawson said.
