Frank Spaziani and his BC football team went through "winter practice" hoping to continue building on the positive notes that ended last year's losing season on an up note.
The Eagles ended their 12-year bowl run with a 4-8 season in 2011. But that record was 1-6 after seven games before BC went on a 3-2 run to end the season. The Eagles finished with a 24-17 win at Miami and open 2012 with a home game against the Hurricanes; and while there's still a lot of work to do and plenty of questions to be answered before then, Spaziani looks at that 3-2 finish as a stepping stone for a young team.
