Last week's rare road victory at UTEP kept UAB in the C-USA East Division race and was cause for celebration—a quick celebration.

"I think that it's a step in the right direction," offensive lineman Caleb Thomas told the Birmingham News. "We won, but, hey, we got four more games. We got Florida Atlantic this week. That's really how it is. That's the attitude you need to have. Once you win, you've got to get over it fast."

The Blazers (3-5, 3-2 C-USA) go outside the conference Saturday with a home game against Florida Atlantic (2-5, 2-2 Sun Belt). A victory would give them back-to-back wins for the first time since early 2005.
