      <description><![CDATA[ <p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp; Arkansas State has two realistic chances to finish the season with two victories in its remaining games, which will be small consolation after the woeful year overall but could provide the Red Wolves something to build on for next spring.</p> &nbsp;&nbsp; The Wolves are host to North Texas, also a struggling team, and then finish at Western Kentucky, which is buried in the Sun Belt cellar and already has hired a new coach for next year.</p> &nbsp;&nbsp; Combined, the next two ASU opponents are only 2-19 on the season, and North Texas has the only conference win.</p> &nbsp;&nbsp; The Wolves aren't much better at 1-5 in the league and 2-8 overall, but that just adds to the importance of the games.</p> &nbsp;&nbsp; "Obviously, the season hasn't gone the way we would...]]></description>

      <description>Dwight Dasher threw four touchdown passes to lead Middle Tennessee to a 38-14 victory over Arkansas State on Saturday. It was the fifth straight victory for the Blue Raiders (8-3, 6-1 Sun Belt Conference), who had 427 yards of offense. Dasher threw three touchdown passes and Middle Tennessee led 24-0 before Arkansas State scored.</description>

      <description>Jeff Van Camp threw three touchdown passes to lead Florida Atlantic over Arkansas State 35-18 on Saturday. Alfred Morris rushed for two scores and caught a touchdown pass for the Owls (3-6, 3-2 Sun Belt Conference), who won their first home game of the season. Van Camp was 18-for-27 for 242 yards in his second start at quarterback this season, replacing the injured Rusty Smith.</description>
