Arkansas Team Report Dec 1, 2009

Arkansas was hoping to finish the regular season with five straight wins, capped by a victory over LSU in Baton Rouge.

Unfortunately, an errant overtime kick by Alex Tejada cost Arkansas the chance to beat the Tigers, but the team should still feel good about its finish to the regular season.

Arkansas is 7-5, with four of its losses against teams ranked in the Top 25, including No. 1 Florida and No. 2 Alabama.

"I'm certainly proud of our players, our assistant coaches, our preparation and how hard we competed (against LSU)," coach Bobby Petrino said.

"It was a very tough, physical football game. Unfortunately, we came up on the wrong end in overtime. We got in the position where we had the chance to win the game. ...More
