Arizona State has juggled three quarterbacks down the stretch of its season. Now, as the Sun Devils wrap up their season, they will go against a quarterback who was almost one of them.
Nick Foles was committed to Arizona State for its 2007 recruiting class, but coach Dirk Koetter was fired and Foles eventually reconsidered his options when Dennis Erickson was hired.
"I just felt like it was not the best place for me," Foles said Monday.
"It was nothing against him," Foles added, talking about Erickson. "I just sat down with my family and it was just the best thing for me and my family to go somewhere else."
