Robert Hughes

Hughes is a bowling ball runner who runs with great power and leverage. He doesn’t shy away from contact, breaks tackles and gains yardage after first contact. Hughes has very strong legs and keeps them pumping, forcing more than one tackler to bring him down most times. Hughes projects as a fullback at the next level who can hit the line hard and provide a change of pace. He can be a threat in the passing game and has the low, strong build to be an excellent lead blocker. Hughes has good vision and reads the cutback lanes well. His strength wears down a defense as the game gets into the third and fourth quarter.
