On the Hoof: Crisp has slightly narrow shoulders but that is the only small knock on this mammoth-sized grizzly bear. He has a phenomenal power base and very athletic legs to go along with arms the size of tree trunks.
Needs Improvement: He needs to continue to work on flexibility in order to become a natural knee and hip bender. This should help improve his pop factor while run blocking.
Most Impressive: He has a real quick pass set to go along with excellent hand placement and impressive lateral movement once engaged. Crisp has also improved the tenacity and nastiness needed to become an utterly intimidating pass blocker.
Conclusion: Offensive tackles this big and athletic do not grow on trees. If he can pick up the pass protection early, he should see meaningful playing time as a freshman, which is rare for an offensive lineman.
