Scouting Report on Michael Keck

by Mike Farrell - 06/20/2006
Keck is a very active defensive end who takes excellent angles to the passer and plays strong against the run despite his tall, thin frame. He’s a very physical defender who takes on blocks well and isn’t afraid at the point of attack. His speed is often underestimated and he has a tremendous first step. Keck is athletic enough to drop in coverage if needed and has the motor, physical nature and speed to be a top pass rusher at the next level. He needs to get stronger and fill out, but his frame can carry 265 pounds it seems.
