Elijah Griffin knew that because of his 5-foot-7 frame he'd have to work twice as hard as bigger running backs to earn a Division I scholarship offer. The 175-pounder from Westerville (Ohio) South rushed for over 1,500 yards this season and earned first team all-state honors but he has yet to receive the award he covets most, a scholarship offer. Several teams remain in close contact with him and he hopes that soon he'll receive what he has worked so hard for.
