On the Hoof: Davis definitely has a tall, lean basketball body. He is built similar to N.C. State freshman David Amerson.
Needs Improvement: Has a hard time getting into a nice tackling position in the open field because of his height. Davis will also need to improve his cover skills and speed if he is to play any man coverage at the next level.
Most Impressive: Davis has a beautiful, long stride that allows him to cover a lot of ground in a small amount of time. Don't be surprised if he ends up on offense because he is a threat to catch any ball inside the red zone for a score.
Conclusion: He could see early playing time because of his superior size and ball skills. His skill set is also ideal for coverage teams. If he ends up as a safety he will most likely redshirt, but as a potential huge receiver he could see early playing time.
