The wide receiver position was certainly the most important need for Auburn to fill on offense for this year's recruiting class. The Tigers return very few experienced or big play wideouts after the graduation of Tim Carter and the transfer of Deandre Green. Auburn receivers only managed six touchdowns last season and the Tigers needed to upgrade both the numbers and the talent at that position as they prepare for the first season under a new offense coordinator.
