LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP)—Liberty scored 42 points in the first half and coasted the rest of the way, beating Coastal Carolina 63-27 on Saturday night in Big South action.

After Liberty took that 42-0 lead, the Chanticleers (4-2, 1-1) finally got on the board with two touchdown passes by Aramis Hillary. The second was a 44-yarder to Adrian Kelly. But Liberty promptly responded.

The Flames scored three unanswered touchdowns, the last coming on a blocked punt that was recovered in the end zone by Bobby Partilla.
