Southeast Missouri whips Murray State 49-13

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP)—Matt Scheible threw for 188 yards and two touchdowns Saturday to lead Southeast Missouri over Murray State 49-13.
Scheible was 6 of 12 and ran for another 48 yards. Mike Jones ran for 113 yards and two touchdowns, and Henry Harris ran for 99 yards and two TDs for the Redhawks (2-8, 1-7 Ohio Valley). Chantae Ahamefule caught three passes for 150 yards and two touchdowns.
Casey Brockman was 20 of 36 205 yards to lead Murray State (3-7, 2-5). Charlie Jordan ran for 89 yards and Rashad Daniels caught two passes for 36 yards and a touchdown.
Southeast Missouri avoided its first winless OVC season in school history with the victory.
