Gordon leads Harvard past Columbia 34-14

NEW YORK (AP)—Gino Gordon ran for two touchdowns and Collie Winters passed for another as Harvard remained unbeaten in the Ivy League with a 34-14 over Columbia Saturday.

Gordon ran six yards for his first touchdown as the Crimson (6-2, 5-0) scored 21 points in the first quarter. He added his second on a 3-yard run midway through the third.

Gordon finished with 63 yards rushing in 12 carries while Winters was 19 for 30 for 214 yards.

Jerry Bell passed for 226 yards and a touchdown for the Lions (2-6, 1-4), who have lost five straight.

Treavor Scales had a 1-yard TD run and Winters found Kyle Juszczyk for a 12-yard scoring pass after a fumble recovery by Nic Hasselberg.

Patrick Long added field goals of 38 and 29 yards to make it 34-0 before Columbia scored twice in the final 6:49 on a 1-yard run by Zack Kourouma and a 10-yard pass from Bell to Andrew Kennedy.
