MIAMI (AP)—In an Oct. 31 story about the Louisiana-Lafayette-Fla International football game, The Associated Press misstated Tourek Williams’ role in a blocked field goal during overtime.

Williams, a defensive end for FIU, was the player who blocked the attempt, not the player attempting the field goal. Williams blocked the 29-yard attempt by Louisiana-Lafayette’s Tyler Albrecht in FIU’s 20-17 overtime win.

Tourek Williams plays for FIU and is the player that blocked the kick. Not ULL's kicker.
