DES MOINES, Iowa (AP)—Peter Badovinac and Stephen Platek each ran for fourth-quarter touchdowns Saturday to pull Drake to a 45-38 win over Jacksonville.

Drake (7-1, 5-0 Pioneer League) trailed Jacksonville (4-4, 3-2) for the first three quarters and were down 38-32 early in the fourth. But after Badovinac scored to tie and kicker Brandon Wubs was blocked for the extra point, the Bulldogs were able to force a fumble on Jacksonville’s kickoff return with 11:14 left.

Two minutes later, Platek scored the go-ahead TD.

Platek also caught a touchdown pass earlier from quarterback Mike Piatkowski, as did Spencer Cady and Mike Bilton. Piatkowski was 17 for 29 for 212 yards passing and ran for one TD.

Jacksonville had kept the lead most of the game as quarterback Josh McGregor had 321 passing yards for three touchdowns.

The Dolphins’ Kennan Bowe returned an interception 35 yards for a TD.
