MOSCOW, Idaho (AP)—Running back De’Maundray Woolridge ran for a 2-yard touchdown with 52 seconds left Saturday to boost Idaho to a 35-34 win over Louisiana Tech.

In the final second, Louisiana Tech’s Matt Nelson attempted a 56-yard field goal to change the outcome. It had the distance but went wide left.

Hey Joe. I'll be pulling for the Vandals today. Boise got the win last night as I expected, but not the big win that would have helped. If you think about it, what if our programs performed the way they are now two years ago? We'd be excited....that's what. But see....its the BCS. To have a bid in a BCS bowl and not be a BCS team you have to have blow outs all season long. Is that really realistic? Take a look at Texas and Florida's schedules. Not anymore impressive. Marginal victories against unranked teams. I'm glad for the Vandals record...they are doing well. The the hype is "Hey look...Idaho is bowl eligible." But what if they were pushing for BCS. Why does that change things? To much politics. A winning team deserves a chance. Year by year, win by win. That's how you find out who is on top. It's not the name.....it's the game. Good luck.
