Stony Brook rallies to beat Coastal Carolina 16-10

STONY BROOK, N.Y. (AP)—Michael Coulter threw two touchdown passes and Stony Brook beat Coastal Carolina 16-10 on Saturday.

Coulter went 10-for-19 for 144 yards, including a 28-yard touchdown pass to Conte Cuttino in the fourth quarter that broke a 10-10 tie. He also was intercepted twice.

Cuttino led the Seawolves (4-4, 3-0 Big South) with 96 yards rushing.

Coulter threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Chris Tyler, and then Wes Skiffington kicked a 37-yard field goal to give the Seawolves a 10-0 lead at the end of the third quarter.

The Seawolves registered five sacks and held the Chanticleers to 177 yards total offense.

The Chanticleers (3-4, 1-2) rallied to tie the game in the third on a 9-yard run by Jamie Childers and a 38-yard field goal by Justin Durham.
