WORCESTER, Mass. (AP)—Dominic Randolph passed for four touchdowns and ran for two more, and Holy Cross beat Colgate 42-28 on Saturday.
Randolph went 20-for-31 for 288 yards, and had 116 yards rushing on 14 carries for the Crusaders (6-1, 2-0 Patriot League). He has thrown for at least 200 yards in 36 straight games, a Football Championship Subdivision record.
The Crusaders have won two of the past three games in the series after the Raiders (7-1, 2-1) won five in a row from 2002-06.
With the game tied at 7, Randolph passed to Nick Cole for a 9-yard touchdown, then ran for a 1-yard touchdown and the Crusaders led for good at 21-7.
Bill Edger had nine catches for 127 yards and a touchdown for the Crusaders.
Greg Sullivan went 18-for-32 for 176 yards and two touchdowns for the Raiders.
