Central Arkansas beats Northwestern State 34-0

NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP)—Robbie Park threw two touchdown passes and caught one to lead Central Arkansas to a 34-0 victory over Northwestern State on Saturday night.

Park was 10 of 18 for 160 yards and threw fourth-quarter touchdown passes of 46 and 58 yards for the Bears (4-1, 1-0 Southland Conference), who had 433 yards of total offense. He also caught a 5-yard pass from Brent Grimes to give Central Arkansas a 14-0 lead with 4:59 left in the second quarter.

Leonard Ceaser rushed for 92 yards on 13 carries for the Bears and Grimes added 75 yards on 14 carries. Jackie Hinton also scored on a 48-yard run and finished with 62 yards on three carries.

The Demons (0-5, 0-1), who were 3-for-16 on third-down conversions, are winless after five games for the first time since 1974.

Quentin Castille led Northwestern State with 49 yards on 14 carries.
