Louisiana-Monroe beats Florida International 48-35

MONROE, La. (AP)—Frank Goodin and Trey Revell each scored three touchdowns to lead Louisiana-Monroe to a 48-35 win over Florida International on Saturday.

Goodin, who finished with 163 yards rushing on 19 carries, scored on runs of 9, 35 and 23 yards for the Warhawks (3-2, 2-0 Sun Belt Conference). Goodin’s first score in the second quarter put Louisiana-Monroe ahead 14-7 and the Warhawks never trailed again.

Revell was 19-for-35 with 273 yards, threw two touchdowns and one interception. He also rushed for 59 yards on 18 carries, including a 9-yard run in the second quarter.

Both of Revell’s touchdown throws went to Darrell McNeal, who had six catches for 108 yards.

Paul McCall completed 28-of-46 passes for 314 yards, threw three touchdowns but had two interceptions. T.Y. Hilton had 11 catches for 117 yards and a score.
