SAN DIEGO (AP)—Freshman halfback Walter Kazee rushed for 101 yards on 22 carries and scored a touchdown Saturday as San Diego State defeated New Mexico State 34-17.

The Aztecs (2-3) scored half of their points in final 7 minutes with the help of Kazee’s TD carry and a scoring pass by Ryan Lindley to Willie Watters.

I feel bad for alumns and any one else with no connection but with some sort of mental disorder that would cause them to be interested in the Aztecs Football Program. As a former alumni of SDSU it saddens me that the University even wastes it's time AND money on this program. What is surprising is the number of quality professional players to come from a school with such a poor tradition of loosing. I'd like to see how USD would fare against the football program as their basketball team has had a very successful record against us. And yes I know that the USD hoopsters are D-1 but the Aztecs haven't really faired well agains Cal Poly the last several years either. If they played USD they might actually have over 30,000 in attendance.

Can't believe nobody commented on a 'WIN'. Congrats to the offense for kicking some ass in the last quarter. Now, get it together for four quarters against BYU and show them the road. Go Aztecs!!!!!!
