KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP)—Tim Hiller threw for 338 yards and two touchdowns to lift Western Michigan to a 24-10 victory over Hofstra on Saturday.
Hiller completed 34 of 43 passes in the game and was intercepted once. Brandon West ran for 128 yards and a touchdown, and Jordan White caught nine passes for 101 yards and another score for the Broncos (2-2). Chleb Ravenell had seven receptions and 99 yards for the winners.
Hofstra’s only touchdown came in the first quarter on a 42-yard pass from Cory Christopher to Aaron Weaver. That gave the Pride (2-2) a 7-3 lead, but Western Michigan came back to lead 17-10 by halftime. The only scoring in the second half was Hiller’s 1-yard pass from Hiller to Matt Stevens with 9:25 to play.
