Indiana knocks off Akron 38-21

im a michigan fan and hope for a great game from both teams and no one gets hurt but right now i would settle for a 3 point win keeping in mind that we are at home i would say I U will be in a good bowl this year not just A bowl.

Hoosiers need 3 more wins to go to a bowl. (6-6) I can see wins at Virginia, Northwestern, and Illinois. Also possible wins at Purdue, and Iowa...... They are starting to play better and still need to work on several aspects of offense and special teams, but I see opportunities. to put together a good season. I like the senior leadership, and the 5th year seniors pushing everyone forward. Keep up the good work and lets have a great game at the big house......

IU has beaten both sides of Ky and a MAC team without their best player they also will suck come basketball season thanks to repercussions of hiring a liar and a cheater ,Sampson.
I am an IU alum and refuse to get sucked into a world of false hopes .

For those Purdue fans who love to trash IU football, at least we did not lose to a MAC team. This is the year to kick the Boilermakers' ass and bring the Bucket back to Bloomington. Go Hoosiers go.

The team has gotten better and better every game, and 5 td's is a lot. IU has emliminated a lot of the mistakes that plagued the the first two games of the season, but therte is still room for improvement. Don't be surprised if they go into Michigan and give them a bit of a scare. Becoming bowl eligible is a bit of a stretch, but respectibility is not out reach. Oh, and for the few haters on here, don't you have someone else to talk trash about? We know we'rte a basketball school, but that doesn't mean we don't love our football too!! Go bug Ohio St.

A win is a win although this was an ugle one. 5 TDs sounds a lot but there were wasted chances. Special teams play - Fisher's kickoff return for TD may overshow the blocked punt (for Akron's score) and blocked field goal attempt. One interception and one fumble also killed IU's momentum. We had a lot less penalties. Still need improvement to the secondary otherwise Wolverines will fly around the backfield. Bring on Michigan and see if IU can play respectable and lose by no more than 2 TDs.

IU is not going to a bowl game, where are they going to get the 3 required wins just to qualify, let alone the 4th that it will probably take.

IU football is BCS bound. Hooisers football catch it. Oh wait nevermind, its a basketball school.
