Urbana beats Dayton 13-10 on fourth quarter TD

DAYTON, Ohio (AP)—Tarik Kalimullah caught a 26-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter and Division II Urbana beat Dayton 13-10 on Saturday.

Kalimullah, who had four catches for 51 yards, caught the game winner from Evan Gehlert with 5:08 left in the game. Urbana drove 87 yards on nine plays.

Gehlert completed 26 of 45 passes for 245 yards for the Blue Knights (2-1). Matt Allen scored Urbana’s other touchdown on a 4-yard run.

The Urbana defense dominated, allowing Dayton only 10 yards rushing on 20 attempts. Urbana also intercepted Dayton quarterback Jared Phillips three times.

Dayton (0-1) has lost three straight games by a total of nine points.
