Huck passes Butler to 42-3 victory over Albion

INDIANAPOLIS (AP)—Andrew Huck threw five touchdown passes, three to Zach Watkins, as Butler routed Albion 42-3 on Saturday.

Four of Huck’s scoring passes came in the second quarter as the Bulldogs (1-0) opened up a 28-0 halftime lead on Albion (0-1). Huck threw a 10-yard pass to Eddie McHale for the first TD, then connected with Scott Gray on a 71-yarder, and later hit Watkins for touchdowns of 48 and 62 yards.

Huck found Watkins for a third TD in the third quarter, connecting on a 19-yard scoring pass.

Huck also ran for a score, finishing with 327 yards passing and 68 rushing. Watkins finished with seven catches for 183 yards.
