MUNCIE, Ind. (AP)—Riley Dodge threw for 216 yards and a touchdown to Michael Outlaw, leading North Texas to a 20-10 victory over Ball State Thursday night.
Cam Montgomery rushed for 149 yards for the Mean Green (1-0) and Lance Dunbar added 63, including a 3-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. Jeremy Knott kicked 24- and 19-yard field goals.
MiQuale Lewis ran for a 27-yard touchdown for the Cardinals (0-1) with 12:41 to go. Ian McGarvey kicked a 21-yard field goal in the third.
