MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP)—Mike Mosley threw two touchdown passes to lead Jackson State to a 20-0 victory over Alabama State on Saturday.
Mosley, playing in place of injured starter Tray Rutland, threw a 72-yard touchdown pass to Carlos Everett to give the Tigers (5-4, 4-1 Southwest Athletic Conference) a 14-0 lead in the third quarter and then hit Cedric Dixon for a 14-yard score in the fourth quarter for the final margin.
Luther Edwards scored Jackson State’s first touchdown on a 1-yard run.
Alabama State (2-7, 2-3) was held to a season-low 93 yards of offense.
Mosley was 9 of 16 for 153 yards.
