LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP)—Devin Moore ran for 234 yards and scored three touchdowns as Wyoming broke a five-game losing streak with a 35-10 win over San Diego State.
Wyoming (3-6, 1-5 Mountain West Conference) dominated from the first quarter onward Saturday.
Moore scored back-to-back touchdowns in the first and second quarters, running in from 35 yards and 3 yards for a 14-3 Cowboys lead.
Wyoming went ahead 21-3 when Chris Stutzriem (STUTS’-ream) connected with Brandon Stewart for a 69-yard touchdown. In the third quarter, Moore got a third touchdown on a 2-yard run. Wynel Seldon plowed through 14 yards for another touchdown to put Wyoming ahead 35-3.
The Aztecs (1-8, 0-5) scored their only touchdown when Justin Shaw caught a 26-yard pass from Ryan Lindley in the third quarter.
