Jimmy Clausen reportedly punched by angry fan

i liked notre dame in the early 70, just to hope they would beat ,hated texasl longhornss and the sorry houston cougars. those two teams kept my beloved texas tech red raiders from going undefeated a few times. now i said this from the very start of this year to the guys at work. notre dame is a piece of @#$% team and how the hell is it that they made the top 25, and my texas tech team makes it to #2 last year. no one beats oklahoma at there house. texas tech ends up at #13 to end the year. do i think notre dame could hold a candle to texas tech the last 5yrs in a row. hell no texas tech would roll up such a big score on them , that notre dame would never come a callin to ever play us again. so come a callin ,heres your chance. come play my lowly texas tech red raiders. the ap poll voters are a sorry bunch, and texas tech would beat the hell out of notre dame even this year. i hope we play yall in a bowl game to just prove yall had no buisness even being ever ranked this yr. What sticks in my craw is just how horribly and inordinately "pro Notre Dame" the media is. As soon as one of their players rises above mediocrity, like Clausen almost did, he falsely becomes worthy of Heisman Trophy consideration. The minute that Notre Dame beats a mid-tier Big Ten team, Lou Holtz starts foaming at the mouth and hypes them for National Championship consideration. You might as well do the same for Louisiana Tech while you're at it. I might like ND if the coverage they received were as balanced as it were for most of the other BCS member schools, but as this is not the case, I really dislike the team. BTW, my previous post was just a bit of un-funny satire.

The fan shouldn't have punched Clausen, he should punch the defensive coordinator, anyone notice that it's the defense that sucks about Notre Dame, no talk about it, just more talk about Weis.

Memo to Bryan # 13: watch whom you call illiterate if you don't even know how to spell "you're" and "buffoon." Maybe you should have a take on the actual story, for example: with fans like that, who needs enemies? Something along those lines.

This is good news...Clausen is so bad and ND is having one of its worse seasons ever...saw him play my school BC last year in Boston n he threw 4 picks...before then I was on the fence, but after that there is no doubt in my mind that Clausen is one of the worse and most overrated QBs in college football...

Proof is in the paid announcers proclaiming him one of the best in college and yahoo analysts, who are most likely paid by ND as well, writing claims a few weeks ago that Clausen is a heisman favorite...LMAO...

Uh, Thumper...Notre Dame isn't in the NFL they're a college team, a marginal college but still a college team. Claussen should prosecute that dude to the full extent of the law.
