This so called expert is still picking PITT over UC and that a 2 loss Iowa and OK st. would out bid a one loss UC. What a moron. I should call myself an "expert" and write sports articles. It just goes to show that the media is rooting against UC.

to peewee your right tcu is not a bad team and they would beat boise
beating clemson was nice but they just dont play enough good teams
strengh of schedule has iowa having the 3rd toughest sched amongst the bcs teams right now
They will without doubt be in the orange or fiesta most likely orange
you cant say because 1 team beat another and they beat them there better
some teams just have some teams number
good luck to the frogs but the hawks deserve to be in the bcs bowl

first of all i will have to agree that strength of schedual is and should be a strong factor in rankings and bowl settings ! for some of the fans that have a real understanding of college football i hoping that you understand where im comming from in this statement and the OTHERS well you need a reality check ! while BSU and TCU play in NON-BCS leagues they are good teams . TCU being the way better than the two . TCU has a much tougher schedual than BSU ! TCU has a record of 19-5 against BCS top teer conferences since our beloved BCS started up ! TCU has beaten teams such as OKLAHOMA , CLEMSON , TEXAS TECH , AND BYU ! others like UTAH , BAYLOR , STANFORD ( who beat USC ) AND VIRGINIA ! some some of these games i understand are going to come into question i can deal with that.

to sit here and question that TCU has no business being in this BCS hunt is not up to us as the fans! its up to the white collar community ! I AM A DIE HARD FROGS FAN ! watch every game every year but to say that they belong in a BCS championship game is absurd ! they have all the tallent that most other teams wish they had and then some .

if you want to go point for point then thay can do that ! if you want a defensive game they can do that as well! all im asking is that you as a true college football fan and not a schmuck , give them a chance ! OH AND BY THE WAY THEY WILL GIVE IOWA A GAME AND BEAT THEM AT THE SAME TIME! MAYBE IN THE GAME WITH PENN STATE OR OHIO STATE ( ULTIMATLY LOSE )! a tru fan will understand that these so called mid-majors will be on the top eventually and maybe permanently for a while !

whether you believe it or not CINNCY , TCU , BYU , SOUTH FLORIDA , BOISE , UTAH , AND CENTRAL MICHIGAN ARE HERE TO STAY!

You people who claim to be football fans, yet keep obsessing about this undefeated crap sound like baseball fans who use W-L to judge pitchers.. Obsolete and fallacious views. If you don't understand schedule strength, what are you doing trying to convince others of a single word you're spouting?? The only people you'll convince that Boise St. or TCU are better than Iowa are those dumb enough to state either of those cupcake-crammers to meet eachother in the BCS Title game.

Here, maybe this will help illustrate how you sound---why is it you same people were trashing Iowa after the Indiana game? Iowa was 9-0 after beating them 42-24, yet somehow there's no way they should be in title position, according to some. Why? Maybe...it's because Indiana's a junk Big Ten team who they should have beaten by more than 18---never mind the fact that junk Big Ten team is better than 2/3 of ANYBODY your Cinderella sweethearts have played. I'm being generous. I can only call these contradictory and ludicrous statements, not arguments. You're simply arguing with yourselves or hopefully just failing to admit the truth on an open forum.

Lucky for Iowa, the BCS *WILL* acknowledge the truth. The Fiesta will showcase a defense that does nothing but force sacks, create turnovers using their relentless swarm of Black and Gold---so much that the folks in Miami may still give the Yellow Jackets an opponent that best describes their own name. Don't simply accept this the same way I accepted Iowa not being better than Texas and Florida, embrace it.

THEY PROBABLY WOULD BE LUCKY TO BEAT NORTHWESTERN.
i want to se you potatoe lovers beat nevada.
but you still have new mexico state.
BOISE STATE WOULDNT STAND A CHANCE TO GO UNDIFFETED IN THE BIG TEN.
KISS THE DIRT IF YOU POTATOE LOVERS THINK THAT SCHOOL WOULD GO UNDIFFETED IN THE BIG TEN.
THAT SCHOOL COULDNT BEAT NINE LITTLE GIRLS.

looking af for the next few weeks till the final bcs polls.
We know that tcu going to a bowl game if they don't get@#$%y over new mexico. We know that whoever win the sec game will go to the national championship game. What if Texas lose to thier confence championship and have tcu play for national championship then if bsu beat nevada this friday to go for a bowl game. I hate those two losts team take over bsu if they win undefeated. What if texas lose to texas a am and lose to the conference championship. I don't think that cinn should win over pittsburgh. they are playing at pitts. I will pick alamaba over fla. I am tired of seeing florida in championship. let bsu vs tcu for national championship. If there are only two undefeatedteam left. Like bsu and tcu They have the right to go to national championship regardlessof thier bcs bowl

The more i look into the boise st - nevada game, the more interesting it looks...

Nevada has like 2000 more yards than boise in rushing this season, leading the WAC and has allowed the fewest rushing yards in the WAC

Boise leads the league in total defense, especially passing defense. Surprisingly, Nevada has a better rushing defense than Boise state... Boise state gave up more than 250 yards against Boise state.. which is 2nd in the league in rushing...

what does all this mean? well gametime, probably nothing... but on paper, look for Nevada to run all over Boise state... Boise's best passing defense really means nothing against a team that doesnt rely too much on passing to begin with.

I am predicting Nevada in an upset win over Boise State... running buck wild in the process...

Give me a break tired of hearing about boise st and tcu stop it they play absolutely NO ONE they both lose 2 or 3 games easy in sec or big ten and doesnt matter how bad those conf are.
Do you watch the same games as the real world they play FRINGING HORRIBLE TEAMS.
Iowa is possibly undefeated or a one loss team with there starting qb.
Who cares if they win by 1 2 or 3 points.
Wow tough to run the score up on those high school teams that boise plays.
Hope iowa gets to play boise beat them down like red headed step child.
YOU THINK BOISE STAYS UP LATE WORRYING THAT THEY HAVE TO PLAY TULSA, UTAH ST, IDAHO, HAWAII, LOUS TECH, SAN JOSE ST, WAIT ALSO CAL-DAVIS WHERE EXACTLY ARE THEY AND BOWLING GREEN
Tired of hearing about this school you should kiss the ground your so highly ranked you give up 500 yards to fringing idaho.

Iowa did beat that Arizona team you just mentioned in your previous post also, I challenge anyone of your teams to go to Happy Valley, Madison and East Lansing and pull out victories all in the same season, not to mention an ot loss at Columbus with a Fr. qb making his first start ever with only ever being signifigantly in 1 previous game. But I am sure you will make the they only win by 4 points or less arguement, well, believe it still counts as a win in the victory column, no astericks or nothing

What makes this Matt Hayes an expert on college football TCU or Boise only one can get into a BCS game it is in the rules only one non AQ team. Also, if a 2 loss Iowa were to get an at large bid over a one lose UC that would be bull crap considering Iowa has won most games by 4 points or less and played no one out of conf. UC beat Oregon St. on the road and Oregon St. has a chance to win the PAC with Oregon beating Arizona and winning through out.

i think all of those picks are pretty much right on considering threre are about 3 weeks or so left in the season....although i dont see IOWA in the fiesta bowl against BOISE STATE.....i see a 1 loss CINCINATTI over a 2 loss IOWA....PITT will win the big east giving CINCY just 1 loss, and they will go over IOWA....

I like ALAMBAMA v TEXAS in the NC game

ROSE BOWL....possibly STANFORD v OHIO ST...or OREGON v OHIO ST....quite possible is OREGON STATE...

SUGAR BOWL....you definetly have the runner up from the SEC championship game....either FLORIDA or ALABAMA....they will face TCU

ORANGE BOWL....you 2 automatic qualifiers to this bowl like the rose bowl....the winner of the ACC which will be GEORGIA TECH...against the winner of the big east....PITT.....

FIESTA BOWL...aahhh you have my favorite team the undefeated BOISE STATE BRONCOS....against quite possibly a 1 loss CINCINATTI team..they will only have 1 loss to PITT....and they will get the nod over a 2 loss IOWA team...

I do not know how they projected iowa over usc to go to the fiesta bowl, because iowa is going to lose to osu this week end and they are already behind usc in all the polls including the bcs, plus usc is not going to lose again this year. usc vs boise st in the fiesta, tcu vs alabama in sugar oregon vs ohio st in rose bowl and cincinatti vs geo tech or virg tech in orange bowl, then you have florida vs texas in bcs title game, where the gators will be victorious again, but i do think it could be a very close game, probabley closer than the title game last year when the gators should have beaten the sooners by more than 10 points.

Even though I'm a dihard Texas fan and wish them the best. I think the whole BCS grap needs to beoverhauled. A playoff system is the only way to do it the fair way. Div. 1 College teams are the only ones that doesn't have a PlayOff system.

The Pac 10 is weak! Oregon proved it this week, and USC continues to prove it. 14-9 over Arizona St??? Offensively, theyre ok, but they wouldnt last 2 quarters against Fla, Alabama, or LSU's defense. The ACC has slowly become the SEC in that, they have alot of good teams, but they beat up on each other, and knock themselves out of the big BCS bowl bids. Florida is still the best team, Alabama is still second best, and Texas is still 3rd. Anyway you look at it. And ill buy into that TCU and Cincy may be overrated, but Boise has proven themselves to everyone. 3 great seasons in a row, with a OU defeat under their belt, and no one wants to play them regular season. I say Florida beats Alabama in the SEC, K-state upsets Texas in the Big 12 and its Florida-Boise State in the National Championship. A top offense with a decent defense against a great defense with an ok offense. And before this weeks 4 interception game, Christian Ponder deserved the Heisman. Most underrated QB in the NCAA.

i think that it should go with the non bcs fight for the right to play the bcs bowl. like bsu vs tcu then who ever win that game play the highest bowl close to bcs championship. For the national championship I am hoping for texas vs bsu that is a long shot.
