Oregon State-Cal Free Predictor Contest

  • Print

With the Oregon State-Cal game less than a week away, it is once again time for BearTerritory fans to see if they can pick the winner and the exact outcome of the game in our first Free Predictor Contest of the season. This is a simple competition that challenges fans to predict the upcoming November 7 game at Memorial Stadium in Berkeley. The winner will never forget this prize, as it includes a head coach Jeff Tedford autographed copy of the 2008 Cal recruiting class Calography album.

As we highlighted earlier this week, the Bears have had some outstanding battles against the Beavers over the years. And, this year’s version of the OSU squad aren’t too bad either, so making a correct prediction on the game won’t be an easy task.

So can you predict the game? Give it a shot - it is completely free if you are a member. All you have to do is give BearTerritory.net a 7-day Free Trial shot.

The overall winner (which is who predicts the game as closely as possible, meaning both the correct winner and the final score) will receive one of the most unique Cal memorabilia items ever produced; one (1) 28-page 2008 Calography signed by none other than California head coach Jeff Tedford.

That’s right, an autographed version.

Only 15 serial numbered, signed, and authenticated segments were ever produced, so this is truly a very limited album.

The 2008 Calography is not just a simple collection of images. A 28-page recruiting bio and photo guide of the entire 2008 Cal Recruiting Class, the segment is printed on 11 x 17 high-glossy black photo paper which is bound on the left hand side of each print. It captures every former Golden Bear prospect in a different light, while also denoting their individual prep backgrounds and Rivals rankings.

What did the Cal football staff think about the segment?.

  • “This is one very impressive piece - extremely well done. It has our entire class, and they are absolutely phenomenal pictures too. The size of this document is powerful. It could easily be a centerpiece for our recruiting class. Terrific job.” - California head coach Jeff Tedford

  • “This is big-time work. I’ve never seen anything like this. Honestly, this is just really cool.” - Assistant Coach Ron Gould

For fans who want to view video of the 2008 Calography, which includes full-size photos of the class, please follow the link below:

  • Entries will be compared to each BearTerritory member to see who comes the closest. If you are not a member yet, please make sure you are signed up. Only one entry will be allowed per user, and no entry forms can be adjusted once they are submitted, so make sure the score you put down is the one you want to go with.

The deadline to submit a prediction is Friday, November 6. NO EXCEPTIONS.

    Good luck to everyone.
