LSU is always going to have a good football team. A degree from LSU is about as impressive as a diploma from a high school for the intellectually handicapped. LSU recruits and signs the academic bottom feeders who stand 6' 4", weigh 275 lbs, can run a 4.5 fourty and can't spell any words with more than 3 letters, correctly. These "academic giants" never have any problem with LSU's curriculum because "Remedial Dora the Explorer" and "Underwater Basket Weaving 101" are usually their toughest classes. But these "student" athletes sure can play football (when they are not serving a sentence for armed robbery).

The gaggies "play" only one game per year. Any other games are merely warmups for the Longhorns and AM's usual pitiful overall record reflects that very fact. Give the gaggies credit. When they play at home, especially against Texas, they are usually tough. Against anyone else they are average at best, especially on the road, and they have been like that forever. Aside from a brief period in the late 80's and early 90's when Jackie 'Thousand Dollar Handshake" $herril bought some of the best players in Texas, when has AM been nationally ranked at the end of the season? Doesn't happen very often and never will.

Also geaux, LSU allowed 478 yards against Washington, in an early season win, which Washington was unranked. By the way, what are you guys doing only scoring 24 pts. against LA Tech, in a 24-16 win.
