QB Bradford’s surgery called a success
NORMAN, Okla. (AP)—Oklahoma’s Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Sam Bradford had surgery on his injured right shoulder Wednesday and the school called it a success.
In a release sent out by the school, Bradford’s father says Dr. James Andrews informed him that the procedure went “just as we expected.”
Kent Bradford said his son was experiencing some soreness, but was otherwise resting comfortably in Alabama after a 35-minute surgery. The quarterback, who had sprained the AC joint in his shoulder, was expected to return to Oklahoma within the next day or two.
Bradford has said he plans to enter the NFL draft if his recovery goes as planned. That process is expected to take four to six months.

Jones makes better since anyway....Does anyone think we can win a championship with this kid? Pressure got to be on Wilson and Stoops...Does anyone know how man we have coming back on Defense if McCoy doesn't go pro or our awesome safties does not enter the draft...All we really need is 6 back......basically the whole offense is coming back right....Brown good bye---I wish we could kick that overrated Demarco Murray's butt off the team...All the talent in the world-just can't stay healthy and now it shows......Feed Calhoun as well......

Even Yahoo, has to write stories about players that people are interested in reading. With that said, there must not be a player interesting enough on your favorite team to warrant a story. If you want to read about your teams QB, maybe you should consider upgrading to another team, like the OKLAHOMA SOONERS?

For great commentary on college football, I go to suddendeathblog.com Entertaining story on ND's Jimmy Clausen. And common sense outlook on the quality of SEC officiating -- especially true given the league's sanctions against the complaing coaches....

Marine Corp. Hey, why doesn't the Marine Corp start their own academy (not Annapolis)? I bet they'd get some awesome players.

Aikman was born in West Covina, CA and didn't move to Oklahoma until he was 12....you can still claim him if you want to though! LOL

Also, the combined number of Texas kids, atheletic and non atheletic makes up almost 25% of the Oklahoma University student body. Fact
The good news is that Oklahoma can only recruit the Texas players that are not on probation. This is because their probation officer will not let them leave the state. The bad news is that is why they stay in Texas. Not a fact but, come on now, that was funny.
